INSTRUCTIONAL GOALS




This course introduces students to the exciting field of cyber security by discussing the current information security subject, including types of attacks, privacy, secure authentication, and careers in cyber security.  Students will be exposed to several defensive cyber security technologies and techniques to learn how to implement solutions to prevent the exploitation of home computers and mobile devices. The student will also learn about Amazon Web Services (AWS).  Amazon Web Services is the world's most comprehensive and broadly adopted cloud platform, offering over 175 fully-featured services from data centers globally.

This platform will allow the students to build real-time, Internet-accessible websites and storage and implement the security controls needed to protect them.
